Teleconferencing

 
Teleconferencing is the technology by which a group of people at remote places can communicate with each other. These remote people and remote machines are linked by a telecommunication system which may be through internet, satellite or telephone. In teleconferencing the video and audio is transmitted from one end to the other so that the person is one end can view and hear the person at the other end. Internet teleconferencing is teleconferencing done using the internet. One of the major advantages of teleconferencing is that it gives broader access during public meetings, it saves time and travel costs. When people cannot travel longer distance or when traveling is not possible to a certain place, teleconferencing can be used. Video conferencing is one in which the two parties can view live video of each other and also hear each other.

Bluetooth technology

 
Bluetooth is a technology which is used for exchange of data between two Bluetooth enabled mobile or fixed devices. It is a wireless protocol which creates personal area networks. It was originally designed to replace the RS232 cable wirelessly. Bluetooth uses a radio technology which chops the data into many packets and is then transferred. It’s a way to connect between various devices like mobile phones, laptops, global positioning systems receivers and gaming consoles. It consumes low power and is dependable between short distances. Bluetooth devices were not very much successful in computers and laptops. Bluetooth is widely used only for data transfer between two mobile phones.

Wi-Fi

 
Wi-Fi stands for Wireless Fidelity. This technology allows interoperability between different wireless devices. Most of the laptops support Wi-Fi and now even personal computers, gaming consoles, printers, PDA, mobile phones, smartphones and other peripherals support Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is particularly used to connect the devices to the internet. The area where there is Wi-Fi is called a hotspot. There is a Wi-Fi antenna which transmits signals within a particular area. The Wi-Fi enabled devices in that area can connect to the internet through the Wi-Fi. In many cities across the globe there have been efforts to make the whole city into Wi-Fi hotspots. This will enable us to access the internet throughout the city on the move. Wi-Fi is a technology that has made internet access on the move at different places simple and easier.

Go green is the buzz word around the world right now. Companies are trying to bring eco-friendly products which cause least harm to nature and which helps us to conserve nature. Hybrid cars and bikes are the new age transport vehicles. These vehicles run on either electricity or other eco-friendly fuel which cause less carbon emission thus reducing pollution.
