The bad times can also be too distressing for the people of the world. For instance, the great depression depreciated the value of money to such an extent that people were not able to buy wood for cooking food and warming their houses. This led them to burn currency notes to cook food and warm their homes! This was a fact which had been archived in Germany and the place where this incidence took place still stands testimony to the awful events that preceded and succeeded the Second World War. So, it is wise to stay firm in the decision that the world mustn’t face a grueling incidence such as the world war!

The worst and the best of the world have been witnessed only during times of distress and sadness. For example, when considering the situation of the world during the times of the great depression in the late 1930s and 1940s, we could remember how bad the situation of the world was. In turn, the years which followed these undesirable instances were all the most thrilling and enthralling with great influx of money into the world’s economies. The sudden inflow of money was attributed to the huge amount of money spent during the world wars which triggered a great money transfer throughout the world!

More than any other world conqueror, Alexander deserves to be called the Great. Although he died before the age of 33, he conquered almost all the known parts of the world and created a new history. Alexander was born in Greece some few hundred years Before Christ. Under his father, the country prospered really well. Alexander was handsome and had the physique of an athlete. He excelled in hunting and loved riding his horse. When Alexander was 13 years old, the leading Greek thinker and philosopher Aristotle came to tutor him. Alexander learned to love Homer’s ‘Iliad’. He also learned ethics and politics and the sciences including botany, zoology, geography, and medicine. His main interest was military strategy and that’s so obvious since he is the greatest conqueror the world had ever seen.
