Many people who are regular users of newspaper give their first priority not to the headlines but to the cartoons in them. Cartoons are not just a few streaks of a pen or a pencil,but should possess a news within it,mostly sarcasm. It demands immense creativity ,by which the whole message should be conveyed by a few streaks . Mostly they carry humor within them depicting national leaders and their principles ,but with a caution that it never exceeds limit. In some cases ,the cartoon published will give the idea of the standard of the publishing media. Hence the cartoonist is given respect equal to that of senior editors in the firm.

People who are more addicted to work and are reluctant to even spend time with his/her mate are termed as workaholic. They are mostly employees of a multi-national company that demands a project to be completed in a close deadline ,which makes them to work even without returning home for days. Such people though they can earn more money ,they are devoid of any personal pleasures like spending a evening with family, playing with their kids. They also become victims of hyper-tension due to their work pressure and increase the risk of cardiac diseases. Regular exercise and mental strength can make them relive of such circumstances.

Recent television programs and games becomes a matter of concern for sociologists as they affect children’s mentality in a society which may be a root cause of evil in future . Sociologists are very much worried about the violent and sexual content of recent movies which may pollute the mind of young citizens. They argue it with facts that show that school children imagine themselves to be a wrestling champion or any of a comic character and they fight among themselves. Sociologists demand that movies with pornographic and violent content should be marked strictly for adult audience . Also they are demanding certain PC games to be banned for their violence in it which still may harm the children’s mind.

As the book reading habit of people declines year-by-year ,there are still good connoisseurs of books as the best-sellers indicate. Based in the life-style of people their taste and choice of book differs. Most of the people love to posses books on fiction, like that of “harry potter” as they are enthralled by the magical incidents and other enjoyable features of the book. There are some people who hate fictions , and they are in need of non-fiction like books based on history and self-development books. In between them are those who buy thriller novels and are enthralled by the twists and turns in the incidents related to any particular crime depicted in that novel. But whatever their choice may be ,they enjoy the pleasure of book-reading habit.
